Martin Bayfield presents BT Sport's rugby union coverage

Former England international and broadcaster Martin Bayfield is part of BT Sport's rugby union team.

He works as presenter and reporter across our live Gallagher PremiershipHeineken Champions CupChallenge Cup and Premiership Rugby Cup coverage.

Martin also regularly presents our weekly live debate show, Gallagher Premiership Tonight.

The 6ft 10in tall forward made his England debut in 1991, went on the 1993 British Lions tour to New Zealand and was part of the 1995 World Cup squad.

Since retiring, Martin has worked as a journalist and an after-dinner speaker.

He has also appeared in the Harry Potter films playing the half-giant Hagrid, in longer shots which need to emphasise Hagrid's height.

Martin has presented the NFL and World's Strongest Man coverage on Channel Five and worked as a rugby correspondent on BBC Radio 5 Live.

He was involved as a presenter in ITV's coverage of the 2007 Rugby World Cup as well as presenting the network's Premiership highlights.

Martin is an Honorary President of Wooden Spoon, the rugby charity that supports disadvantaged children and young people.
